In life we all have different types of success and the ones we achieve when there is adversity really is a Mountain Top Success Experience. Now you may be asking yourself what does success, journey, achieving, and adversity have to do with Mountain Top Success? It has everything to do with it. You could say I went from point A to Point B and people will be proud of you for doing that but, there is a huge part of the story people miss and that is where success, journey, achieving, and adversity comes in that no one gets to hear from you.
Today , we are going to the Mountain Top Success and tell the world the success we all have had and still having. So let me be your own motivator, your (Jimmy Cricket) to start pumping you up to go out so you too can put your mark on this world. First and foremost you need to say “I am on the journey and ready to achieve anything, even if there is adversity that get in the way I will get to the Mountain Top Success. I know this is long but it is very powerful statement to put out and say it out loud too. Now I really need to be up front with you here I always wanted to share my personal success with others and tried many times but it never worked out. Then I was speaking to Karen who is a good friend and business partner that heard me share a few things and said I have many things to offer others. So I started to search and rediscover myself and realized that I have had many success to share and there was the birth of the Mountain Top Success Blog.
Now words are the most powerful form of communication there is. Words like disappointing, sad, or even excitement, thrilled, success, achieve, and there are many more. These words allow you to go in a negative or positive direction and it is how you perceive these words you end on taking action in your life with them. One thing I will tell you about these words is this they can take you to the muck pits where you can keep yourself down and harder to get out of. The other is that these words negative or positive can empower you to great things. Yes it is true you can take all those negative words and use them to create a positive outcome for yourself. I know this works because after years of being in the muck pits a friend James offer me that advice and what it came down to was the way I perceived and accept what was said. I never really thought that the saying “taking lemons and turning them into lemonade” was a great metaphor and life lesson. But it is and ponder it and see what you get. Now let me tell you what is going on here I am doing with you what James did with me. I am giving you a toolbox and working tools that I have and you can use them in your life so you can reach The Mountain Top Success like I have in many different ways. Now that you got a toolbox and some basic working tools and let’s start adding to that Toolbox.
One of the most important working tools you can have in your toolbox is to really know how to keep a game face on at all the times. Now you may think this is really crazy thing to say and do but, I am very dead serious about this. You see people that know you best sometimes have the ability to say or do things that will change your mind and get you off the journey you are traveling. Now they may be doing this for many reasons good, bad, or indifferent; all I can say is to keep in control and focus and do not allow them to make you think twice about your journey. Doing this you will keep your strategy and tactics of what you are doing to continue to work and keep the flow going. See this is what I found out: if we allow others that are close to us make us second guess ourselves then in turn it is telling us that we did not truly believe what we were doing in the first place. So how I overcome this is that when I am passionate about something there is no stopping me!
Let me give you an example that you will frequently refer to. In 2007 I when to Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, South India. I knew I was suppose to go and spent 4 and a half months there; the why was still up in the air. This was the first time I was out of the country and travel overseas. Going there was great because I really got to discover who I really was, referring to my strengths and weakness. I came back to the states a very different person and very strong too, so that even today almost a year after my return I have people that still do not understand me and that is fine. Because you see it is how I see myself that only matters, now that may be a little arrogant but I am on a journey to Mountain Top Success and here I will tell you what I tell everyone. “I do not care who you are no one is going to stand in my way of me completing my mission”.
Oh forgot to tell you when I was in India and saw the after school program that was there and was to help with in any way but how I did not know. In fact the first day I there to meet the kids I was introduced to a 10 year old boy name Mani (pronounce money) and Kumar that intrduced Mani to me said, “Marcus, Mani does not know how to spell his name and he is 10 and in the fifth grade.” My heart went out to him because I have been in Special Education so I really knew what it was like not to be with my peeps level. But, I ask Kumar how to spell his name because I saw a blackboard and chalk was there. I started to spell it out on the chalk board and ask Mani if he could do what I wrote. Crazy thing happen he did it and Kumar said I have been working 4 months to get him to do this. Oh those tears of joy that was felt at that moment for Mani and for all of us. It did not stop there one of the older girls saw him writing his name and ask if he wanted to see it in their native language Tamil. So it was, a boy name Mani (prononce Money ) learned how to spell his name at the age of ten and in the fifth grade.

Mani Mountain Top Success Experience
Now this is an Mountain Top Success Experience and Story to be inspired about. I also found out that Mani loved music and to dance so I created ways to educate him through what he loved. Do you know how empowering that was for Mani? This is where I start to discover my Mission. After I saw how it help Mani and other children there, that is when I saw a vision and now my mission I am on right now.
I am moving there and my online business, Infinite Abilities, is going to buy land and build a school in this village for all the children there. Now here is the really cool thing about this school that my business is going to do. The culture is very different over there so, if there are children come from a really poor family when the boy or girl gets to around 10 years old they have to leave school and start working like everyone else does, you know like the adults. My solution is this respect their culture and have these kids to do vocation training and in a work study program and these kids get like 3 hours of school a day during their work day. Now people I know or that I tell this too say that is so noble. No it is my Mission. So everything I do is for these kids and now you know why I say “No matter what no one is going to stand in the way of My mission.”
Remember earlier when I said about negative words helping you on your mission? Well, some tell me it will be a long while, or perhaps even never. I take these words and make it my strength. I work even harder to make it happen. So you know I am on an Mission and work everyday to make this happen. There is no vacation holidays or days off till I complete this mission. You have to have the passion and be dedicated in order to take the journey to The Mountain Top Success. I will leave you with this in the movie G.I. Jane whenever they ask the navy company are you ready to do the next task. They always say in this way. “Are you ready for the next Evolution?” and reply “Yes Master Chief” This is burn into my brain and when I need to hear it, it is there. See you next time for the next steps to The Mountain Top Success.
