JDK :
Marcus, we know you as this easy-going and fun-loving guy. So...why so serious, man?

Well, you're right about that. I do love to have fun and laugh it up as much as the next guy. But if there's one thing I'm quite serious about, it's creating Financial Freedom and sharing with others the lessons and techniques I've learned along the way. Nothing gives me more peace of mind than knowing that I've made a difference for someone else.

JDK :
So...for you, it's all about the giving.

Well, yes. I've been blessed in so many ways. I've always pictured my ultimate work being to "give back" and pass the blessings on to others in every way I can think of.

JDK  :
So not only are you an Entrepreneur, you're also a Visionary.

You've got a much bigger scheme of things than just the "bottom line".
Exactly. I like to think of myself as an Energetic Catalyst as well.

JDK  :
What does that mean, exactly?

I like to think of everything as being made of energy. You know, the quantum physics view of things. And that our thoughts and feelings all contribute to the energy that we all live in that we call our world. I like to think that somehow I can help people find answers and solutions so they can get on with living their lives as they've always wanted to, so that we can created a happier, more peaceful world. The word "catalyst" really grabs me. Like I can create a "spark" of encouragement for people that, in turn, creates "ripples" of light and hope that spreads out to more and more people.

JDK  :
Sounds great. So how do you hope to do that? What is it that moves you the most? How would you define what you're about?

I guess the first thing people might notice about me is that whatever I do in my personal or business life I always do with zeal and passion. One thing I'm most passionate about is something I've done all my life: Giving in one way or another to people that are challenged, the "underdogs", those who've had a rough road, and have maybe even lost hope. However you want to describe them, I've always wanted to do something for these people that I hope would create gratitude in them as they start to see that there is something that can empower them and change their lives in a big way. This is a really big part of what moves me and motivates me to do the work I do.

JDK  :
Is there any particular reason you feel this way?

The reason I feel this is because I myself have been through many different types of adversity in my life. One of the key reasons I strongly relate to them is that I also have both a physical and a learning disability. I have been learning to overcome many challenges and obstacles all of my life. I SO want to pass on to others what I have learned.

JDK  :
So you feel that this has been a big part of what moves you and motivates you in business. You feel that this is also a big part of what motivates others when they see all you've overcome?

Well, with this background of overcoming major obstacles, mostly through my way of optimistic thinking and acting, I have been able to teach myself the way to think and act like a successful entrepreneur. This seems to provide an incredibly passionate empowerment both for me and for people I work with in business. So yes, I think that's probably one reason I'm becoming known as a Visionary Entrepreneur and an Energetic Catalyst.

JDK  :
What has been the "catalyst" for you? What has been your "trigger" or opportunity for inspiration?

Well, a few years ago, after a major trauma occured in my life, I felt I could no longer consider a path in the traditional workplace and in the corporate life. Through this challenging time, I found that I began to think outside of the more run-of-the-mill way I had usually thought in the past. This time, I decided to begin to invest in the best investment I could make. Something I could really believe in, and was starting to trust in more and more, and that was ME. So even in the middle of all the difficult closing of "doors of opportunity" that I experienced during that time, along with that, I began to see that, with whatever experiences, knowledge, and talents I already had, which I began to appreciate more fully, a HUGE window that I had never noticed before was wide open! This gave me a whole new hope for enjoying life as a great adventure and I found that a solid gold promise of success was waiting for me just right around the corner...if I'd only follow my dream and trust my instincts that this really was the best path for me. So, since 2003 I have been looking for just the right business system and product, and have been working on both since 2004.

JDK  :
And that's when you came up with this business model, the Turnkey Monkey Group?

That's right. It represents our most progressive work in putting together resources that give people some of the most useful tools available for doing business in the most automatic "turnkey" way possible. You know, so that, ideally, it will provide a solid, ongoing or "residual" income.

JDK  :
And...I have to ask. Why the name? Where did you come up with that?

Well, since the experience of so many, including myself, in the business world (both in the corporate world...and even in the entrepreneur's world) is that it really does often feel like a "jungle" out there, that got me to thinking. And, since monkeys are well-known for making the best of it, and having fun in the process, I felt that it was exactly what I wanted my business to represent. A way to keep it playful and fun...even in the middle of a jungle...and still load up with plenty of...um...bananas!

JDK  :
Got it! Sounds like fun! Where do I sign up?  :::laughs:::   So what's the most important thing for you right now? What keeps you going...besides "bananas"?

Right now, the most important thing that I keep realizing more and more is to be very grateful and thankful for were I started in my life and where I am at right now. In other words, how far I've come. I seem to be able to do this more and more thanks to my very positive and solution-oriented thought process. You know, being very optimistic where you see the cup as at least half full even at times when it's not easy to do that because it doesn't feel that way.

JDK  :  So what's "in the works" for you? Any plans in particular as to how you hope to "make a difference"?

I'm so glad you asked. Let me tell you the direction I am going as we speak. One of my key objectives is to use much of my online business income to support my philanthropic work in South India. I'm looking forward to going back to Tiruvannamalai in order to build a special type of education center with the Shanti Children's Project there. This will be the start of a number of projects my business will be taking on in the near future. The beauty of it is, as my work is supported by my online business, I can operate it from virtually anywhere in the world. This lets me be free to travel and do so many things that I feel will make a difference for many people. (Also, I love the idea that I can give this kind of freedom to others who follow my "system" as well.)  And, in the process, I have the delightful privilege of making friends with people in different parts of the world. I've never been more excited about working with others, especially the wonderful people I've met and have been working with in South India. They are so special to me, just like family.

Let me share with you the all the kids of the Shanti Children's Project.

You see the hope that these kids have.

Would you like to be part of their future and  dreams?

As a direct outreach of this business, we plan to build a school for these kids and others in this community.  So when you buy any product on this site, a significant portion of the profits are going into a building fund to buy land and to build a school for them.

Your business with us is truly appreciated...both by us...and by these children whose lives will be changed forever by this much-needed work we do.

We know we'll be making a difference in our world in a meaningful, rewarding and satisfying way.  Won't you join us...by being part of our business and by letting others know about the great work the Turnkey Monkey Group is doing?  We are passionate about making a difference.  Why?  Because we know this is one of the most important investments we would ever make.  An investment in the lives of these children and their future...especially where...apart from our crucial investment, their opportunities for success and a satisfying life are almost non-existent.  We SO look forward to making a difference for them...and seeing their lives changed!  By making purchases here...we thank YOU for being part of this important work!

We want to be inspiring to others.   One of our favorite examples of this is Randy Pausch's Last Lecture: "Achieving Your Dream". This has inspired me to do more in my life.  Listening to Randy created a profound impact on my life.  I hope it inspires you like it did me.
